About Us

How The Dance Circle Works

The Dance Circle creates free after-school dance programs at elementary schools with the help of high schools near them. Our programs have weekly classes for at least an hour where students learn dance steps and a piece of choreography to preform at school talent shows and more. We've currently worked with schools like The Empowerment Language Academy and Carson Elementary, and we've loved been able to create friendships and mentorships with our kids. As run by high school dancers, we understand the harsh cost of dance and believe that everyone deverses to explore the art for free. With the recent cuts for the Arts in San Diego, we have a goal; spread the joy of dance. Please join us by contacting us to come to your school, helping us volunteer, donating to our organzation, or even just watching our journey as we grow.
